Once more, Caroline has made good work of this unique soup cookbook, “SECONDS.” The paintings of the soups are enticing; the recipes tempting, delicious, and inspiring to serve in a variety of ways (including a dollop of crème fraiche, as would be my persuasion) that would appeal to anyone at the table. The photo essays represent the universal joy in sharing a bowl of soup with friends and family, connecting us all through a love of soup.
